Announcing our next game: a point-and-click parody of Les Misérables!

We are excited to finally announce the next title from our new studio: a point-and-click adventure game that's a parody of Victor Hugo's classic novel Les Misérables! It's a wonderful and timely tale of revolution, inequality. sacrifice and love, and has inspired generations. Our aim is to do to Les Misérables what Life of Brian did to the bible: a parody around a parallel character, and drawing from classic British comedies like 'Allo 'Allo!
Our game focuses on Claude van Claude: a young man imprisoned for stealing a loaf of bread. When he gets out, he sets out on missiuon to discover the daughter he left behind 14 years ago, learn about her life without her, and save her from the dangers of a violent revolution. A full length, hand drawn adventure game set in revolutionary Paris, filled with colourful characters and puzzles, fully voice acted and drawn from live performances. It builds from everything we learnt making our first very short game 'The Protagonish'.

We've already been in production for 6 months, and have story-boarded the whole three act game, drawn a dozen characters and backgrounds developing a unique, beautiful art style for the game. Of course, we are not using any AI tools, it's all hand made and we are already recruiting the amazing voice cast (some big news there too soon!). We've also had a epic field trip to Paris, location scouting and visiting places that will feature in the game! There's a whole article on this the digital and print issue 10 of the amazing Debug Magazine! More exclusive content on this in the next few blog posts.

We are aiming for a Kickstarter and Demo at the end of the year, and hopefully a full release at the end of 2026... But we can't set up the Steam page for wishlists until a little later, when we can create a trailer with real gameplay. So the best way to find out more is to signup for our newsletter, and you'll get regular updates and an inside look as we develop and grow the game for YOU, our lovely audience-to-be!
Join us on this adventure, and vive la révolution!
